Merry Merry Christmas!

Christmas morning was such a blast
The pitter patter of little feet
Brough back sweet memories of the past
We had a beautiful Christmas morning filled with joy
As everyone oooed and ahhhed over their Christmas toys
But the presence of a sweet baby dear
Reminded us why we celebrate this time of year

Thank heaven above for sending down our baby
Thank heaven above for her health restored
Thank heaven above for the love of her family
Thank heaven above for the knowledge of our Lord

We wish everyone a Merry Merry Christmas!

Here are some pictures for your enjoyment!

I'm gone to CA for 3.75 weeks.

My BAC (big a*s camera) is still in GA.

Daddy is still taking finals.

Grandma is mumming on baby.

Baby is sleeping 8 hours a night.

Mommy is looking normal again.

Posts to come when BAC camera arrives with Daddy this weekend.

So happy to be with thankful for Christmas season to bring family together.

Growing sooo fast!

Emmy is growing so fast I cannot keep up. We washed all her 3-6 month clothes thinking they woud fit in a few more weeks, but to our surprise most of them already fit! Shes pushing herself up when shes on her tummy and she LOVES focusing on faces, her mobiles, and lights. Yay Emmy! We love watching you grow. Emmy's little face changes everyday and her little looks are hilarious. We can never get her hair to lie flat in the back; hence our attempts make her look like she has a cone head. I think we will just resign to having Emmy look like a little treasure troll until it grows a little longer. We are taking Emmy to see my family in California and I am excited to watch her interact with everyone.

A picture is worth 1,000 words...

So four pictures must be worth even more than that. This week was....well....I'm not sure I can really describe it. Another failed newborn screening, another trip to the ER, another trip to the lab so they can poke my baby, and another dose of utter exhaustion. So, when all else failed I cuddled up my baby and just let her sleep. Oh Emy...we love you!
